He chaired a workshop to develop the referral system and quality of care for people living with HIV/AIDS. on migrant workers between Thailand and Laos, with Dr. Narong Chankaew, Mukdahan Provincial Health Office, Dr. Panina Phoumsavanh, Director of the Center for AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Laos, welcoming participants Niti Hetanurak said this meeting represents an important opportunity to build public health cooperation between Thailand and Laos. Ensure that migrant workers receive ongoing care and remain in the treatment system. Reduce HIV transmission and reduce the AIDS mortality rate. and lead to good health in society in the future
The meeting discussed and discussed border cooperation between Thailand and Laos. HIV nationwide and in the Twin Cities border provinces, both in terms of progress and challenges in caring for and referring migrant workers to continuing care services. Then there are suggestions to improve the guidelines and referral programs for the TB/HIV Cross-Border Referral System (THCR) to be in line with the needs of both parties, such as forms , data and data recording variables to provide complete information and cover a larger number of referrals.
