Jesse Payne, 31, a father of two from Louisiana, Mo., is recovering after a horrific accident involving a bulldozer. On April 11, while helping construct a new wing for a dog kennel, Payne was using a skid steer loader when tragedy struck.
After stopping the machine to move a log, Payne slipped while exiting the cab. His foot landed on the foot control, causing the bucket arm to raise rapidly. The bucket pinned his head, resulting in severe injuries, including a broken neck, a broken jaw, a severed ear, adn significant damage to the skin around his left eye.
