BYD Introduces Luxury DENZA Model in Thailand to Expand Southeast Asian Presence
Chinese car manufacturer BYD has officially launched its luxury model DENZA in Thailand, marking a significant expansion of its presence in one of Southeast Asia’s most promising markets.
Liu Xueliang, General Manager of BYD’s Asia Pacific car sales department, highlighted the company’s success in Thailand, with 56,000 electric cars sold to date. The introduction of DENZA is a strategic move for BYD, following the opening of its factory in the country earlier this year.
“Thailand is the center of the automotive industry in Southeast Asia, with a developed luxury car market. We believe that the DENZA brand, which combines luxury and sustainable technology, will resonate with Thai consumers,” said Liu during the launch.
BYD’s electric cars are currently sold in 88 countries worldwide, with production centers in Brazil, Hungary, Uzbekistan, and other countries, in addition to Thailand.
