Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark, known for her incredible shooting and playmaking, will miss at least two weeks due to a left quad strain, the team announced Monday. This marks the first time in her professional career, excluding preseason games, that Clark will be sidelined.
The injury will keep Clark out of at least four games, beginning with Wednesday’s contest against the Washington Mystics. It remains uncertain whether she will travel with the team during her recovery. The last time Clark missed a game was Nov. 18,2017,during her sophomore year of high school.
Clark played every possible game during her time at Iowa, including regular season, Big Ten Tournament and NCAA Tournament games. She continued this streak into her rookie season with the Fever, appearing in every regular season and playoff game.
