Shijiazhuang City Organizes Legal Aid Agencies to Enter Campuses
Shijiazhuang Daily News (Reporter Dai Lili) – As part of the city’s “Expanding and Improving Legal Aid” people’s livelihood project, the Municipal Bureau of Justice has organized legal aid agencies across the city to enter campuses and carry out the “Legal Aid into Campus to Teach the First Lesson of the School Year” activity.
This initiative aims to deeply implant legal knowledge in students’ hearts and contribute to creating a harmonious and safe campus environment. The activity has been well-received by students and teachers alike, with many expressing their appreciation for the valuable lessons learned.
Interactive Sessions and Engaging Activities
The Justice Bureaus of all counties (cities and districts) in the city have carefully prepared various forms of interactive sessions to enhance the interest and interactivity of the lectures. These sessions include:
- Legal knowledge quizzes with prizes
- Signing of commitment letters
- Mock courts
- Role-playing
These interactive sessions aim to guide students in using legal weapons to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests in a more vivid and intuitive way.
A Series of Activities to Protect Youngsters
The “Legal Aid into Campus, Good First Lesson of the New School Year” activity is one of the ”Legal Aid to Protect Youngsters” series of activities carried out by the Municipal Bureau of Justice. The relevant person in charge of the Municipal Bureau of Justice said that the next step will be to continue to deepen cooperation with various schools, regularly carry out various forms of legal aid publicity and education activities, and provide solid legal protection for the healthy growth of minors.
Successful Implementation Across the City
The Xinhua District Justice Bureau, together with the district procuratorate, public security bureau, education bureau, Dubei Subdistrict Office and law firm, went to Shijiazhuang No. 37 Middle School and brought a wonderful legal knowledge lecture to all teachers and students.
The Pingshan County Justice Bureau of Shijiazhuang City went to Xijie Primary School and improved the students’ awareness of the rule of law and safety precautions through visiting publicity display boards, on-site interactive Q&A, and typical case explanations.
The Gaoyi County Justice Bureau went to the Music, Sports and Art Middle School and took the prevention of juvenile delinquency and anti-school bullying as the theme. During the intervals of military training, it taught more than 700 first-year junior high school students the “40-word anti-bullying rule” and the “Six Meridians Divine Sword” for rights protection.
The Zhao County Justice Bureau went to the middle and primary schools in the jurisdiction to carry out rule of law lectures, open up a green channel for legal aid, and inform students of the path and contact information for seeking legal help.
The Lingshou County Justice Bureau went to the Shaolin School in its jurisdiction and used an interactive question-and-answer method to mobilize students’ enthusiasm and initiative for learning, and provided the first “legal feast” of the new semester for teachers and students in the school.
