Privacy Talk is a wearable device that lowers the wearer’s voice. It is a mask-shaped device that connects a PC or smartphone to a headset via Bluetooth. Inside is a labyrinth structure that uses acoustic metamaterial technology, which reduces the sound range of the human voice (1,000 to 4,000 Hz) by approximately 20 db (decibels) as the voice passes through. Furthermore, a ventilation fan is said to be installed to prevent choking in the mouth and a dedicated microphone is also included to capture and compensate for the operating sound of the fan.
