At 6:00 on March 10, Taiwan time, during Sony’s latest online program “State of Play”, Capcom released a new online dedicated team battle action game “EXOPRIMAL”.
The 5v5 online team battle “EXOPRIMAL” is in charge of director Takuro Hiraoka and producer Ichiro Kiyokawa, focusing on the concept of “the strongest versus the fiercest”.
The timeline is set in a near-future world. “Dinosaur outbreaks” occur in various places. Human beings are in a major crisis. Tyrannosaurus, Velociraptor, and Tooth dragon will emerge from the vortex dimension cracks. The “Leviathan” developed by Abios not only predicts the location of dinosaurs, but also develops “attack armor” for humans to fight back.
This work does not have a story mode, and the story is advanced through play.
Among them, the attack armor is divided into three types: forward, shield, support, and the armor type can be changed according to the combat situation during the battle. Players, as “attack warriors” equipped with armor, are specially responsible for undertaking tasks and resisting the outbreak of hundreds of dinosaurs at one time.
There are different types of missions in this game. Take the main mode “Dinosaur Survival” as an example. If you complete the mission proposed by the AI ”Leviathan” faster than the rival team, you will win. The mission details will provide different scenarios based on the player’s experience and skills.
“EXOPRIMAL” is expected to be launched in 2023, and the listing platforms include PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Steam, etc.
