The Carolina Hurricanes announced a partnership with WRAL to simulcast 10 regular-season game broadcasts on WRAL and FOX 50 within the team’s home market, starting October 2, 2026.

The package opens on October 2, 2026, with a matchup against the Washington Capitals at 7 p.m. airing on WRAL, according to the team. Following the season-opening broadcast tied to the launch of the Hurricanes Hockey Network, the schedule transitions to Saturday Night Hockey on WRAL running from December through April.
The National Hockey League team launched its own Hurricanes Hockey Network for the season, handling production in-house. Play-by-play announcer Mike Maniscalco and analyst Tripp Tracy will call the games, which WRAL and FOX 50 will air. Station assignments between WRAL, FOX 50, and WNGT will be confirmed as games approach, and additional over-the-air partners across the broadcast territory will be announced later.
