The hour-long meeting was carefully planned, and no disruptions occurred. However, an email sent to CDC personnel Monday from the Office of Safety, Security, and Asset Management indicated potential concerns about meeting tensions. The email reminded staff of prohibited items on CDC campuses, including firearms, mace, pepper spray, and bladed tools.
