EA Sports is giving fans a closer look at presentation enhancements in ‘College Football 26,’ following an initial focus on gameplay. The new game aims to deliver a more immersive experience through realistic lighting, dynamic pregame rituals, and authentic college traditions.
The game’s lighting system will simulate the time of day based on location and season. A sunny afternoon game in Texas will appear different from one in Washington state.Games in November will feature quicker sunsets then those in September, adding to the realism.
Pregame runouts will also be more dynamic. High-profile rivalry games will feature elaborate runouts with fireworks or drone shows.Regular-season games will have more modest pregame festivities.
Several universities will showcase unique pregame light shows, including Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Nebraska, South Carolina, Tennessee, NC State, georgia Tech, North carolina, Texas State, UCF, Boston College, Notre Dame, Rutgers and UCLA.
