The 21-year-old Cha Jun-hwan is leading the ‘quadruple’, a four-round jump, which is considered the most difficult skill in figure skating.

I fell while jumping on the quadruple toe loop, the first jump task, but did not shake.

Straight away, he did a neat jump with a quadruple salcho and triple lutz-triple loop.

He perfectly digested the triple axel that had to go around three and a half laps, and showed the highest difficulty in the spin technique.

If you add up your personal best in the previous short program, your total score is 273.22.

It raised the score by nearly 8 points compared to the record set in the same competition in 2020.

Although top players such as Nathan Chen of the United States and Yuzuru Hanyu of Japan did not participate, they were not lacking in reaching the top of the podium.

Cha Jun-hwan is the first Korean male single player to win a medal or win in this competition.

She is the second Korean winner of this competition after ‘figure skating queen’ Kim Yuna.

After the tournament, Cha Jun-hwan said, “I am very satisfied with today’s performance. It seems that I have taken an important step towards the Olympics.”
expressed his feelings.

In the midst of this, Si-hyeong Lee, who participated in the competition together, placed 7th overall, and Jae-seok Kyung ranked 14th.

In the women’s performance, which ended the day before, Hae-in Lee took the silver medal and Ye-rim Kim took the bronze medal.
