charli XCX’s Involvement

Director Julia Jackman felt Charli XCX was “perfect” for her role after meeting her. Jackman was initially hesitant due to Charli XCX’s fame but was convinced by her readiness,dry humor,and unexpected shyness.
This is Charli XCX’s first major movie role. She has previous acting experience in the Prime Video series Overcompensating (comedic role as herself).
She has upcoming roles in Eruption (drama, co-writer) and Sacrifice (adventure-comedy).
