The story is known that when a dog suddenly died, an ultrasound was performed and as many as 133 coins were found in its stomach.

According to foreign media reports such as the BBC on the 15th, ‘Charlie’, a 13-year-old Bichon Frize who lives in Swindon, Wiltshire, England, was examined in hospital because he had not been eating or passing a stool in recently

The vet who performed the ultrasound on Charlie was surprised. This is because Charlie’s stomach is full of an unknown substance. Initially, the vet thought the substance in the stomach was plastic.

The vet decided Charlie needed surgery and operated to remove it. It was only after surgery that they found out that the substance in Charlie’s stomach was a huge amount of coins.

As a result of the operation, a total of 133 coins were found in Charlie’s stomach. The coin weighed 680g and the value was 18 pounds 20 pence (about 30,500 won).

Matheus Nerone, the vet who operated on Charlie, said, “Pet dogs often eat coins, but eating as many as 133 coins is not common.”

It is not revealed how Charlie managed to eat so many coins.

Fortunately, Charlie recovered well from surgery and returned home. Charlie’s owner washed the coins that came out of Charlie’s stomach and donated them to a charity that cares for sick animals.
