Chelsea won its host Aston Villa 3-1 on Wednesday evening in the replay match to qualify for the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Chelsea settled for a goalless draw when it hosted Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge on January 26.
In the replay match at Villa Park, Chelsea took the lead with two goals in the first half, scored by Connor Gallagher and Nicholas Jackson in the 11th and 21st minutes.
In the second half, Argentine midfielder Enzo Fernandez scored Chelsea’s third goal in the 54th minute
Frenchman Moussa Diaby scored Aston Villa’s only goal in the first minute of stoppage time, making Chelsea qualify for the next stage in the tournament, which it won 8 times, most recently in 2017.
