LONDON: Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City have all been linked with a move to the English Premier League. Chelsea beat Watford when Liverpool beat Everton. City conquered Aston Villa.
Liverpool won by four goals to one at Everton’s home ground. Jordan Henderson and Diego Jotta also found the target for Liverpool as Mohamed Salah shone with a brace. Demaroy scored a consolation goal for Everton. Mohammed Salah, who is playing in excellent form, remains at the top of the list of goal scorers with 13 goals.
City beat Aston Villa by two goals to one. Oli Watkins scored for Aston Villa while Ruben Diaz and Bernardo Silva found the target for City. This is Aston Villa’s first defeat since Steven Gerrard took over as coach.
Chelsea beat Watford by two goals to one. Emmanuel Bonaventure scored a consolation goal for Watford as Mason Mount and Hakim CH netted for Chelsea.
Elsewhere, Leicester were held to a draw by Southampton (2-2), West Ham by Brighton (1-1), Wolves by Burnley (0-0) and Newcastle United by Norwich City (1-1).
