Chelsea crushes West Ham by five

Chelsea continued its late awakening in the English Premier League, after achieving a crushing 5-0 victory over its guest and neighbor, West Ham United, on Sunday, in the 36th round of the competition.

Cole Palmer opened the scoring for Chelsea in the 15th minute of the London confrontation that took place between the two teams, while his teammates Connor Callagher and Tony Madueke added the second and third goals in the 30th and 36th minutes, respectively.

Senegalese Nicholas Jackson scored the fourth and fifth goals in the 48th and 80th minutes, respectively, to continue scoring in the competition for the second match in a row, after previously scoring during the Blue Team’s 2-0 victory over its guest, Tottenham Hotspur, last Thursday.

Chelsea’s tally, which achieved its 15th win in the tournament during the current season, compared to 9 draws and 11 defeats, rose to 54 points, temporarily advancing to seventh place until the end of the rest of the stage’s matches, superior on goal difference to Manchester United, in eighth place, who has the same score, before… Its match with host Crystal Palace, Monday, in the same stage.

On the other hand, West Ham, which achieved only one win in its last nine matches in the tournament, stopped at 49 points, remaining in ninth place.
