Chelsea legend Alan Hudson wants his playing records with the England national team deleted sports

Chelsea legend Alan Hudson wants the English Football Association to delete his playing records with the national team because he was ignored by the national team and deprived of wearing the “Three Lions” colors.

It is believed that the former Blues star is the first player to submit such a request and will go down in history if his wish is fulfilled.

Hudson contacted the FA and accused them of failing to support him after his 1997 road accident, and in August 2021, he told the Daily Mail: “I don’t want anything to remain in the FA statistics to remind me of the very disappointing way in which I was ignored in every England match except… “Two matches.”

Hudson gave another interview in May 2022 in which he confirmed his request to be removed from the FA’s data, stating, “I want out. I’ve asked the FA to remove my name from everything, and I don’t want anything to do with them. I’m preparing a legal case to force them to do so.” “With that.”

Hudson also pointed to Jack Grealish’s treatment at Euro 2020, claiming it was similar to how previous national team managers ignored talented players like him. “I’ve been thinking about doing this for some time,” he said.

He continued, “Seeing how Grealish (Manchester City player) was insulted due to the lack of playing time, pushed me to the brink of the abyss.”

He concluded by saying, “No wonder we have not won a large number of titles, let alone another major championship, since 1966.”

The English national team won the World Cup in 1966 on home soil after defeating West Germany 4-2 in extra time, after the original time ended in a 2-2 draw.

The 1966 World Cup is the only title won by the England national team in the history of its participation in continental championships.

Hudson participated in two international matches under the supervision of coach Don Revie before he was suspended from playing for 3 years by Sir Alf Ramsey, who punished him for not responding to the international call-up for under 23 years.

When Rifi called him, he said, “He did so as a result of media pressure and then excluded me, even though we won these two matches and I was the best player in the match against West Germany.”

He added, “My dream of a long international career has been shattered and this has caused long-term depression, anxiety and panic. It would be a great relief for me to be erased from the history of English football.”

The midfield prodigy made his debut with Chelsea in February 1969 against Southampton.
