Updated June 06, 2025
Europe’s summer transfer window is now open, and clubs are actively pursuing deals to bolster their squads. Several high-profile teams, including Chelsea,Manchester united, and Paris Saint-Germain,are looking to make significant moves.
Chelsea is reportedly interested in Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan. While the club has several senior goalkeepers, Maignan’s desire to move to Chelsea has created an opportunity. Although manager Enzo Maresca has supported Robert Sánchez, the club may seek an upgrade to compete for the Premier League title. Milan is seeking up to €30 million for Maignan, who has one year left on his contract.
despite recently signing Liam Delap, Chelsea is also considering another striker. Hugo Ekitike of Eintracht Frankfurt is on their radar. Ekitike scored 22 goals and provided 12 assists in 48 games this season. Frankfurt made Ekitike’s loan from Paris Saint-Germain permanent for €25 million in April 2024 and now wants €80 million to let him go. Liverpool is also monitoring the situation. Ekitike’s priority is joining a Premier League club.
Manchester United is targeting Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford to strengthen their attack.Mbeumo prefers a move to Old trafford over Newcastle united. brentford, aware of United’s £62.5 million signing of matheus Cunha, will likely demand a similar fee for Mbeumo, who recently achieved 20 Premier League goals. the club has cooled interest in Victor Osimhen, deeming him an unsuitable fit for manager Ruben Amorim and citing his €75 million price tag as prohibitive.
Paris Saint-Germain’s priority is to sign a right-footed center-back, with Illia Zabarnyi of Bournemouth at the top of their list. Manager Luis Enrique and sporting director Luis Campos admire the Ukraine international. A fee of €50 million is under discussion.PSG had also pursued River Plate’s Franco Mastantuono, but the 17-year-old is expected to join Real Madrid.
real Madrid has moved quickly to reinforce their defense, securing Dean Huijsen and Trent Alexander-Arnold. They had also been interested in Benfica’s Álvaro Carreras.
