Chelsea has secured the services of swiss goalkeeper Livia Peng, 23, from Werder Bremen with a four-year contract. The move strengthens Chelsea’s options in goal as they compete for titles.
Peng brings a wealth of experience, including seven international caps for Switzerland. She previously achieved a league adn cup double with FC Zurich in both 2019 and 2022. Last season, she was Bremen’s first-choice goalkeeper, starting all but one of their Frauen-Bundesliga matches as they finished seventh.
Peng will compete with England’s Hannah Hampton for the starting position at Chelsea, adding competition and depth to the squad.
