China opposes Vice President’s visit to Arunachal Pradesh; India reacts strongly | venkaiah naidu arunachal visit | China | India | Arunachal pradesh

New Delhi: India has strongly condemned Vice President Venkaiah Naidu’s visit to Arunachal Pradesh. India also demanded a decision on the border from China as soon as possible.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Saho Lijian said Vice President Venkaiah Naidu’s visit to Arunachal Pradesh during the border crisis was not right.

But Arindam Bagchi, India’s foreign affairs spokesman, said people did not understand why China was opposed to the Indian leader’s visit to a state inside the country.

The remarks made by the official Chinese spokesperson against India have been noted. The country strongly opposes such references. The whole of Arunachal Pradesh is part of India. It cannot be subjugated by others. The Vice President is going to Arunachal Pradesh just like he is going to all other states in the country. “I do not understand why China is opposed to this,” he said.

The Vice President arrived in Arunachal Pradesh on October 9 for a two-day visit.
