Beijing, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) – China’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced on Monday that the country’s autumn grain production is set to increase compared to last year. With the right balance of sunlight, temperature, and irrigation, most regions cultivating fall cereals have reported favorable conditions. As a result, China expects to achieve a record high grain production this year, surpassing 650 billion kilograms, marking the 9th consecutive year of such growth.
