Chocolate Lovers Rejoice: Sweet Festivals Hit Vienna and Graz
Vienna and Graz, Austria – Get ready for a double dose of chocolatey goodness! The wildly popular Chocolate Festival is returning to Vienna for its second year, and expanding to Graz for the first time ever.
Vienna’s Sweet Return
From January 31st to February 2nd, the Marx Halle in Vienna will onc again transform into a chocolate lover’s paradise. This year’s festival promises an even bigger and better experience, with expanded offerings for all ages.
Attendees can indulge in workshops for both kids and adults, explore a wider variety of vendors showcasing delectable treats, and be mesmerized by culinary shows.
A highlight of the Vienna festival will be the appearance of Nina Metayer, the world-renowned pastry chef named “World Pastry Chef 2023” by the International Union of Pastry Bakers and “Best Pastry Chef in the World 2024” by “The World’s 50 Best Restaurants” list. Metayer will kick off the festival with two special shows on January 31st.
Beyond the shows, over 50 stalls will offer a tantalizing array of chocolate creations from across Europe.From chocolate beer and liqueur to even pizza with a chocolate twist, there’s something to satisfy every craving. Families will also find plenty to enjoy, with activities like chocolate painting and face painting.
graz Gets a Taste
A week later, from February 7th to 9th, the Chocolate Festival will make its debut in Graz at the Messehalle A. Just like in Vienna, Graz will celebrate all things chocolate with vendors, culinary demonstrations, workshops, and a dedicated kids’ area.
Ticket Facts
Admission to both festivals is €13 for adults, €11 for seniors and students, and €8 for children. Children under six enter for free. Tickets can be purchased online at schokoladefest.at, where you can also find information about ticket giveaways and exciting contests.
