Early Life and the Formation of the Yardbirds
Chris Dreja was born in Kingston Upon Thames, England, in 1945. As a teenager, he became captivated by the burgeoning rock ‘n’ roll scene. His musical journey began in a pre-college art program where he met Anthony “Top” Topham, with whom he formed an early rock band.
