Freelance announcer Christel Takigawa, 46, recently updated her Instagram with a heartwarming photo of her dog Alice snuggling up to her eldest daughter, born last November.

In a previous post from June, Takigawa shared an update on Alice’s health, stating that although the dog⁢ can no longer walk, she’s doing ⁢well. The family had taken a trip to ⁤the suburbs to refresh themselves, and Takigawa was relieved⁢ to ⁢find ‍that Alice was in good spirits⁢ despite ⁣the 2.5-hour‌ one-way trip. She expressed her gratitude for⁣ the ⁣happy time they spent together and her hope for Alice to ​live up to 18 ‌years old.

Takigawa has been married to Shinjiro Koizumi, a member of the House of Representatives and the second son of ⁢former Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi, since August 2019. She announced⁢ her pregnancy and gave birth to her first child, a son, in‍ January ​2020, followed by her second child, a girl, in November last year.
