This is the same thing that happened during the 53rd session of the book fair, where Mohie Ismail was scheduled to participate in a symposium two years ago at the fair entitled “200 years since the birth of Dostoyevsky” in the guest of honor hall at the fair, where he arrived at exactly six in the evening, which was the time of the symposium. Before he was surprised that the hall was empty of audience and that the guests did not come on time, he left annoyed.

The current session is held on an area of 80,000 square metres, with a total area of (5) exhibition halls, and the number of participating Egyptian, Arab and foreign publishers and official bodies reaches 1,200 publishing houses, from 70 countries around the world, and the number of exhibitors reaches 5,250 this year.

The ticket can be booked electronically through the Cairo Book Fair platform or manually from the box office located in front of the exhibition gates at the Egypt International Exhibition Center. The ticket price is 5 pounds per person.

The exhibition offers a range of services to its visitors, including: book delivery service via the Egyptian Post, special paths for the elderly and those with special abilities, rest areas for the public, and places for services.
The Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport and Communications, represented by the Public Transport Authority, allocated 11 bus lines to and from the exhibition headquarters, departing from various areas of Cairo in order to facilitate visitors.
