Break News Reporter Park Dong-jae = Host company Live Nation Korea announced on the 27th, “Coldplay’s performance in Korea, scheduled to take place at the Gwang Sports Complex in April next year, will add one more day, making a total of 6 performances.”
Coldplay’s upcoming performance in Korea is taking place eight years after their first Korea tour in 2017, and as news of the event was announced, posts and comments poured into social media and online communities filled with reservation information and performance anticipation, showing great popularity.
The response was so explosive that most of the tickets for the four originally scheduled performances were sold through artist pre-sales and Live Nation pre-sales held on the 24th and 25th, and thanks to fan support, one performance was added.
Tickets for the additional performance sold out at a brisk pace with general reservations held on the 27th, and an extra day will be added to the schedule to meet more audiences for fans who were unable to get tickets.
Tickets for additional performances on April 25, 2025 and remaining seats for performances on April 16, 18, 19, 22, and 24 will go on sale exclusively at the official reservation site Interpark Tickets starting at 12 noon on the 30th. Coldplay’s upcoming concert in Korea is the first in 8 years since their first concert in 2017, and when news of the concert was announced, SNS and online communities were flooded with posts and comments containing ticket information and concert anticipation, showing their explosive popularity.
The artist pre-sale and Live Nation pre-sale on the 24th and 25th were so successful that most of the tickets for the originally scheduled 4 concerts were sold out, and thanks to fan support, 1 more concert was added.
Tickets sold out quickly through general sale on the 27th with additional performances. Accordingly, for fans unable to secure tickets, the schedule will be extended by one more day to meet more visitors.
