Colin de Grandhomme Criticizes Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s Team Balance Ahead of IPL

Delhi: The 17th edition of the Indian Premier League is just two months away. Every team and fans want to win the title for the first time and become IPL champions once again. Royal Challengers Bengaluru is a team that has not been able to win the title in the last 16 seasons despite assembling the best team. New Zealand veteran Colin de Grandhomme’s response to this is that Royal Challengers are not a strong team like Mumbai Indians.

In Zimbabwe, Grandhomme played cricket for New Zealand. Grandhomme made his international debut against Zimbabwe in 2012. He performed brilliantly for New Zealand in the 2019 World Cup. Grandhomme was one of the key players when they won the ICC World Test Championship title.

Royal Challengers are a great team. But the team plays too much depending on two or three players. This backfires on them. Royal Challengers have never been a balanced team. If the best players perform poorly, the team fails. The former Royal Challengers player’s response is in an interview given to Times of India.
