Comedians Park Myung-soo and Jeong Hyeong-don Discuss Past Conflict

In a recent interview on KBS Cool FM’s ‘Park Myung-soo’s Radio Show’, comedian Jeong Hyeong-don opened up about the sadness he felt during his time on the popular MBC entertainment program ‘Infinite Challenge’, while Park Myung-soo offered an apology.

During the interview, a listener asked if the two comedians were close, to which DJ Park Myung-soo responded, “He’s like a younger brother to me.” This prompted Jeong Hyeong-don to ask, “But why did you behave that way during ‘Infinite Challenge’? Why did you do that for 4 years?”

Confused, Park Myung-soo asked, “What did I do?” Jeong Hyeong-don explained, “Why didn’t you support me when many of our younger counterparts were playing with MBC?” In response, Park Myung-soo apologized, saying, “I’m sorry. It was different with Jung Jun-ha. It wasn’t the same with Hyung-don.”

Despite the apology, Jeong Hyeong-don couldn’t help but express his dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs at KBS. He remarked, “Who is favored at KBS right now? (They work comfortably). The radio commercials are excessively long. During the break, they claim the radio show is an hour long, but the actual broadcasting only lasts 35 minutes.”

Park Myung-soo quickly changed the subject, asking Jeong Hyeong-don, “Infinite Challenge” is still popular on YouTube. What are your thoughts?” Jeong Hyeong-don replied, “I work hard. I believe I did my best.” Park Myung-soo added, “I also gave my all while doing the show. There were no disagreements between us during ‘Infinite Challenge’.”

Hearing this, Jeong Hyeong-don expressed regret again, clarifying, “I never had any conflicts with my brother (Park Myung-soo),” and continued to question, “But why did you behave that way for four years?”

Park Myung-soo explained, “I faced a similar situation with Jung Jun-ha. Jung Jun-ha wasn’t hired as a public servant, but joined after being Lee Hwi-jae’s manager. I had 80 comedians under my management.”

Jung Hyeong-don started his comedy career at the 17th KBS in 2002, while Park Myung-soo began at the 4th MBC in 1993. The two comedians gained popularity through their appearance on the iconic MBC entertainment program ‘Infinite Challenge’.
