Monterrey, Nuevo león. Theater, a deeply rooted scenic art form, will be celebrated in Nuevo León with a diverse program of performances for World Theater Day 2025.The performances, selected from the 2024 Conart call for submissions, will run from Wednesday, march 26, to sunday, April 13.
Performances will be held in the experimental room of the City Theater and the Theater of the Center of the Arts.

“la Cavern. Second part of the trilogy of the absurd” (16+): Directed by Luis Escalante, this production, based on Plato’s allegory of
La Caverna,
explores the nature of reality. Performances are scheduled for wednesday, March 26, and Thursday, March 27, at 8 p.m. in the Experimental City Theater Room. -
“Study on the truth, five apes and an obsolete mechanism” (12+): Directed by Alejandro Chapa, this work engages the audience in a direct conversation about truth and its manipulation through scenic games.
