“New Zealand’s leadership in dealing with the 2019 terrorist attacks and the spread of COVID-19. It reflects the most challenging period our 40th Prime Minister has had to go through. during that time I was fully aware of her commitment to New Zealand,” Hipkins said.

Ardern said she was very humbled to receive this honour. but reluctant to accept this emblem because of various actions She was praised because of the cooperation of all rather than because of one person.

Ardern, who became prime minister of New Zealand aged 37 in 2017, has become a global figure. She caused a shock when she suddenly announced that she was resigning from the country’s leadership in January.
