Conte’s successor, Tottenham want Brighton manager

Tottenham are looking for a new manager to replace Antonio Conte.

Coach Conte blasted the club and players in a press conference after a 3-3 draw against Southampton on the 19th (Korea time). He said, “I see selfish players who don’t want to help each other. I’ve been an owner for 20 years, but Tottenham haven’t won anything.”

Currently, manager Conte has returned to Italy while taking advantage of the A-game period. Tottenham are led by assistant coach Christian Stellini and coach Ryan Mason instead. Tottenham have already begun the process of appointing a successor manager.

Former Tottenham manager Pochettino and Julian Nagelsman, who was suddenly sacked from Bayern Munich, are emerging as candidates for Tottenham’s new manager.

According to ‘Team Talk’, the person Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy wants most is Brighton manager Roberto De Gervi. He has been recognized for his leadership this season by leading Brighton to a record 7th place.

However, Brighton are also known to be unwilling to let Jerby go. Tim Talk said, “There is a chain transfer of managers from Premier League clubs taking place. However, Brighton will try to keep Jerby as long as possible,” he said, playing down his chances of joining Tottenham. / jasonseo34@osen.co.kr
