Cooperation with Pakistan especially in the security and trade sector will continue: America

The US State Department has made it clear that there are ‘no differences’ between the US and Pakistan despite the recent sanctions imposed on companies allegedly supplying missile parts to Pakistan. He said that the US will continue to cooperate with the government of Pakistan, especially in the security and commercial sectors.

During a news briefing, US State Department Principal Deputy Spokesman Vedant Patel allayed concerns about potential tensions arising from recent sanctions on companies allegedly supplying Pakistan with missile components, saying, “Pakistan is in the region. is one of our most important partners.’

He said that the US will continue to cooperate with the government of Pakistan, especially in the security and commercial sectors.

He reminded that Pakistan’s finance minister was in the last week and consulted with members of the US State Department, adding that ‘the relationship between the two countries is strong and we are trying to make it stronger.’

It should be remembered that last week, the Joe Biden administration imposed sanctions on 4 companies for their alleged cooperation in Pakistan’s ballistic missile program, which was later rejected by Pakistan.

However, during a briefing on Tuesday, Vedant Patel clarified that the sanctions were imposed because these entities were ‘weapons of mass destruction and their delivery channels’.

He said that on October 23, the US had named three Chinese companies for supplying parts to Pakistan’s missile program.

“We will continue operations against large-scale destructive networks and arms procurement activities,” he announced.
