The number of new cases confirmed on this day was 1,061 less than the previous day, which was the 2nd (19,724), and an increase of 867 from the 27th of last month (17,796), a week ago on Saturday.
Looking at the trend of confirmed cases from Saturday, 11,787 on May 6 → 19,341 on May 13 → 18,100 on May 20 → 17,796 on May 27 → 18,663 on this day.
As of 5 pm the previous day, the ICU utilization rate across the country was 35%. 178 out of 274 beds are available for use.
In the meantime, daily statistics on COVID-19 will be provided until today, and from next week onwards, weekly statistics will be collected and released once a week on Monday.
