The deadline for events featuring experts from various fields is approaching BSI Group Japan (British Standards Institute) will hold its 25th anniversary event “Global Standards Conference, For Our World, 2050 BSI Vision Day” on November 7th (Thursday) and 8th (Friday). ) held on

BSI Group Japan Co., Ltd. (Location: Minatomirai, Nishi-ku, Yokohama, President and Representative Director: Masaki Urushihara, hereinafter referred to as “BSI Japan”) is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and is celebrating the various challenges that Japanese society will face in the next 25 years. The event “BSI Global Standards Conference, For Our World, 2050 BSI Vision Day” will be held on Thursday, November 7th and Friday, November 8th, 2024, to present a path to solutions.

The event will feature eight seminars for the food, manufacturing, construction, and medical industries, with themes of “sustainability” and “digital trust.” At each seminar, we will not only explain the latest trends in standards, but we will also have guest speakers from business leaders and experts from various fields.

BSI Global Standards Conference

■Key points of “BSI Global Standards Conference, For Our World, 2050 BSI Vision Day”

Point (1): Hybrid event held on-site and online (2nd day of event)

The venue is TKP Garden City PREMIUM Shinagawa Takanawa Exit, which is easily accessible and a 2-minute walk from Shinagawa Station Takanawa Exit.

As a bonus for attending the venue, you will also be able to participate in a “coffee session” after the seminar where you can exchange business cards with the speakers and exchange information with other participants.

Point (2): Guest speakers including leading companies and academic experts from various fields

Yamato Transport, which is ahead of the industry in its efforts to become carbon neutral, and NTT Group, which is Japan’s first company to receive smart city certification and whose “people-centered urban development” is attracting a lot of attention, are using AI. Companies that drive the industry’s business will be on stage, including NEC, who will be presenting their cybersecurity measures.

We will also have human capital experts from academic institutions on stage. Yasushi Ichimori not only promotes the introduction of global human resources systems, the development of next-generation leaders, and corporate transformation at foreign-affiliated companies, but also conducts educational activities at multiple graduate schools. Furthermore, Takashi Iwamoto, who has been involved in many studies including “industrial production theory” and “business production theory” and has published books on human capital management and disclosure, will be on stage.
