Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic continued his awakening and brilliance with his team, Al Hilal, after he led them to victory over their guest Al-Raed (3-1) in the match that brought them together, within the 20th round of the “Roshen” Saudi Professional Football League.
Alexander Mitrovic succeeded in scoring two consecutive goals for the hosts, Al-Zaeem, in two minutes (3, 29 from a penalty kick) of the match that took place at the Kingdom Arena, tightening the noose around Al-Nasr’s top scorer, Saudi star Cristiano Ronaldo.
With this goal, the Serbian striker raised his score to 19 goals, and he occupies second place in the league’s current season’s top scorers’ table, reducing the difference to only two goals between him and the leader, the Portuguese star, Al-Nasr captain Cristiano Ronaldo.
Al-Hilal Club also raised its score to 56 points, and moved away from the top of the Saudi League, seven points behind its runner-up, Al-Nasr.
On the other hand, Al-Raed Club occupies the fourteenth place in the league standings with 19 points.
