Millwall has acquired New Zealand international Max Crocombe,adding a seasoned goalkeeper to their squad. The goalkeeper transfer comes as Crocombe joins on a free transfer from Burton Albion, where he spent the previous two seasons.He replaces Liam Roberts, who departed Millwall earlier in June.
During his time with Burton Albion, Crocombe recorded 21 clean sheets in 92 appearances. His efforts were crucial in helping the club avoid relegation.
Steve Gallen, Millwall’s director of football, expressed his satisfaction with the signing.
