“Cruelly killing a dog with an electric iron skewer” – Capture of Paju dog farm

A farm where a dog was brutally killed with an electric iron skewer was caught in the Gyeonggi-do operation on the site.

The Gyeonggi Provincial Public Welfare Special Judicial Police Corps announced that they are investigating a dog farm in Jeokseong-myeon, Paju-si for violating the Animal Protection Act.

Based on the relevant information, the special envoy investigated the hideout of the farm and raided the location of dogs brutally killing early yesterday morning (21st).

The farm was a place where around 60 dogs were raised, and 14 dog carcasses were also found on the site.

According to the current Animal Protection Act, those who commit an act that leads to the death of an animal in a cruel way are punished by imprisonment for up to 3 years or a fine of up to 30 million is earned.

The special envoy is also investigating the farm’s failure to report food waste treatment and non-reporting of livestock manure treatment facilities, and intends to refer it to the prosecution after investigating the owner of the farm.

The Special Envoy of Gyeonggi-do said, “Since animal cruelty is done in secret, specific evidence such as photos and videos is a great help.”
