Your VAT registration information determines where Shopify Tax collects your VAT. Please ensure that your VAT registration information is accurate and up-to-date to collect the proper VAT and ensure tax compliance on your VAT invoice. If your VAT registration information is out of date, your tax liability information may become outdated or inaccurate.

As you expand your business within a country or enter a new European Union member state, you may need new registration information, VAT registration numbers, or new collection requirements to comply with legislation. If you use Shopify Tax, your sales and location are automatically monitored to help you determine whether you have tax obligations in a particular EU country. You can also receive monthly notifications letting you know if you have any outstanding tax obligations based on information available in the store.

You can view this information at any time in your Shopify admin screen.

1. From the management screen,[設定] > [税金と関税] Move to.

3. Check your registration information regarding notifications.

Next to your registration information, you will see a status indicating whether you are below, approaching, or exceeding the registration threshold. If you are approaching or exceeding the VAT registration threshold, consider registering to charge VAT at your location.
