Chunhui Gardener Award and Xingyan Scholarship Ceremony Held at Kaifeng High School

On the occasion of the 40th Teachers’ Day, Kaifeng High School held the fifth “Chunhui Gardener Award” award ceremony and the “Xingyan Scholarship” establishment ceremony in the West Campus Auditorium on September 9.

Yao Chungui, the first-level inspector of the Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee, and Deputy Mayor Liu Zhen attended the event and presented awards to the winning teachers, extending holiday greetings to the teachers.

Liu Zhen praised Kaifeng High School as a century-old famous school that has made outstanding contributions to the city’s education over the years. He acknowledged the hard work and dedication of the teachers, who have earned the respect and praise of students, parents, and the community.

The establishment of the junior high school department of Kaifeng High School has promoted the development of school group operation. The “Xingyan Scholarship” will join the “Du Xiangwan Fund” and “Chunhui Gardener Award” in recognizing the contributions of alumni who are grateful to their alma mater, supporting Kaifeng High School’s high-quality development.

Wang Yan, a 1981 graduate of Kaifeng High School and donor of the “Xingyan Scholarship”, and Song Quanhui, secretary of the Party Committee of Kaifeng High School, signed a contract to establish the “Xingyan Scholarship”. The scholarship will reward outstanding students who are admitted to Kaifeng High School in the annual high school entrance examination.
