Dalseong Cultural Foundation announced that it will hold a ‘Cultural Hwawon’ concert at Hwawon Church, 13 Inheung-gil, Hwawon-eup, Dalseong-gun, on May 19th at 7 PM as part of the search for space to expand the role of cultural base in daily life.

The Dalseong Cultural Foundation is pursuing several projects to expand opportunities for cultural enjoyment for many Dalseong residents. In particular, this time, we plan to secure a space with a large audience to present music culture to the residents.

Accordingly, the ‘Cultural Hwawon’ concert held by the foundation to provide an opportunity to enjoy music culture will be held at Hwawon Church on May 19th.

Hwawon Church, the venue for the concert, has been with the local community for 117 years since its establishment in Hwawon-eup, Dalseong-gun in 1907. With the completion of its new home in 2021, an indoor space with a capacity of approximately 1,500 seats will be provided, allowing for comfortable viewing of the performance.

This performance features a vocal stage featuring tenor An Min-woo, baritone Jeon Seong-min, and the female vocal ensemble ‘Luminous Ensemble’, performed by the ‘Hwawon Union Orchestra’ conducted by composer Oh Yong-cheol.

In addition, we are planning stages of various genres featuring various local art groups, including percussion ensemble ‘Fantastic’, brass ensemble ‘Brothers’, and fusion jazz band ‘Big Tiger Group’, and singers Kim So-yu and Ryu Ji-kwang will make special appearances. Is expected.

Park Byeong-gu, CEO of the Dalseong Cultural Foundation, said, “I hope that this Happiness Sharing Concert ‘Cultural Flower Garden’ performance will help increase residents’ satisfaction with cultural activities.” He added, “We will continue to promote various cultural projects so that culture and arts can be incorporated into the daily lives of all residents.” “I will do my best to lift it,” he said.
