Sussex has signed veteran spin bowler Danny Briggs from Warwickshire on a three-year deal, ⁤effective at the end of the 2025 season. Briggs, 34, returns to Sussex in a player-coach role after a five-year absence. He previously played for the team from⁤ 2016 to 2020 and will be available for the T20 Blast.

Briggs is⁤ the T20 Blast’s leading wicket taker with 246 wickets. Last season, he took⁣ 29 wickets, helping the Bears reach the quarter-final.
