David Moscow’s show From Scratch will return for a new season. The series, hosted by actor and adventurer David Moscow, will stream on Tastemade starting in April. It will explore various locations worldwide, including Sweden and Kansas City, Missouri. The show offers an inside view of the food supply chain, highlighting sourcing, producers, and its importance.
In From Scratch, Moscow learns to prepare meals from their origins. He collaborates with local food producers to harvest, hunt, fish, forage, and grow ingredients. After sourcing these elements, he partners with chefs to recreate the dishes.
This season features notable chefs, such as Douglas Keane, a two-time Michelin star winner; Jennifer Jasinski, a finalist on Top Chef Masters and a James Beard Award winner; and Eric Vildgaard, chef of the three-time Michelin star restaurant Jordnær.
Moscow examines the history of each area and learns about the challenges food producers face. He also showcases the natural beauty of the regions he visits.
Tastemade is accessible on various streaming platforms for free. From Scratch can be watched ad-free on demand with a Tastemade+ subscription through the Tastemade app.
More details about the fifth season will be announced in the new year. From Scratch is produced by Moscow, with Karen Moscow as showrunner and executive producer. Jason Dreyer is an executive producer, while other producers include Jon Moscow, Angela Del Rosario, and more.
