Japan won the World Group 1 Playoff “Japan vs. Lebanon” (Egypt/Cairo, red clay) held on February 2nd and 3rd with a score of 3 wins and 1 loss, and secured their place in World Group 1.

Colombia, on the other hand, won the World Group 1 playoff match between Colombia and Luxembourg (Colombia/Bogota, red clay) with a record of 3 wins and 2 losses, and remains in World Group 1.
