Language Day aims to promote and protect the Spanish language, while Book Day celebrates the importance of reading and the role that books play in our lives. Both events are intended to foster a love of literature and culture in general.

Regardless of the language used, literature is a form of artistic expression that allows us to better know and understand the world around us. Through literature, we can explore different perspectives, cultures, ideas and emotions that help us better understand the complexity of human life.

Furthermore, literature is a way of preserving the memory and history of a society. Through books and other literary texts, we can learn about what life was like in different times and places, and how culture has evolved over time.

Literature can also be a source of inspiration and personal enrichment. It can help us develop empathy and compassion towards others, through identification with the characters and their stories.
