Behavior Interactive announced a new chapter “Hour of the Witch” on September 29th in “Dead by Daylight” (DbD). The official implementation time is October. In this chapter, Mikaela Reed will appear as a new survivor. At PTB, which started with the announcement, you can experience version 5.3.0 including the survivors.
As the chapter name shows, Mikaela Reed seems to have a “witch” motif. Mikaela likes to write horror stories and loves Halloween. He seems to be very interested in magic. October is Halloween. The next chapter is likely to be related to Halloween.
The three parks added with the Mikaela implementation are all totem-related parks. Two of them are parks related to the recently announced “Grace Totem”.
·clairvoyance
Purifying the totem activates the clairvoyance. If you press the button to activate the ability while holding nothing, you can see the aura of each switch, generator, hook, and chest of the escape gate within 64 meters for 8/9/10 seconds.
・ Grace: Healing circle
Survivors within 28 meters of the Grace Totem will have a 90/95/100% increase in treatment speed, allowing self-treatment without a medical kit.
・BOON：SHADOW STEP
Survivors within 28 meters of the Grace Totem will have red scar marks (footprints) and their aura invisible to the murderer. This effect lasts for 2/3/4 seconds after coming out of the range of the Grace Totem.
