In a video posted on Weibo, hail was falling and creating multiple holes in the windshield of an electric vehicle, Tesla. Sparks flew from high voltage wires and steel structures soared into the air.

In an interview, a Guangzhou citizen said, “I couldn’t control my body,” and said, “It was at the apocalyptic level.”

State-run China Central Television analyzed that the increase in sea level temperature has led to abnormally high humidity in the South China Sea, creating a very unstable weather situation.

Because of this, a local abnormal phenomenon appeared.

Previously, in southern China, including Guangdong Province, where Guangzhou belongs, and the nearby Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, heavy rain fell for several days, flooding rivers and causing casualties, including 4 deaths and 10 people on lost
