Death Toll in Gaza Exceeds 35,000: US Increases Efforts to Stop Bloodshed

The death toll in Gaza has exceeded 35,000

Tel Aviv: As the number of Palestinians killed in the Israeli attack in Gaza has exceeded 35,000, the United States has increased efforts to stop the bloodshed.

The US intelligence agency CIA has told Israel it could help capture Gaza Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar if it backed off a ground attack in the southern city of Rafah.

CIA chief William Burns said he could collect and provide secret information about Sinwar’s whereabouts. Burns, who has close ties to Middle Eastern leaders, is actively involved in a cease-fire in Gaza.

Sinwar was the mastermind behind the October 7 attack on Israel by Hamas. He is said to be hiding in the Hamas underground tunnel network in Khan Yunis. Killing him is Israel’s main goal.

At the same time, Israeli tanks are trying to penetrate from the eastern areas of Rafah to the central part. Thousands continue to flee these areas.

Nuclear threat

Iran with a nuclear threat against Israel. Kamal Kharazi, an adviser to the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has said that Israel will change its nuclear weapons policy if there is a threat to the existence of the country. Israel’s demolition of the Iranian consulate in Syria in April triggered tensions between the two countries.

If Hamas is ready to release the hostages, a ceasefire will be possible in Gaza tomorrow. It is up to them to decide.
