US Presidential Debate: Approval Ratings Remain Unchanged

A recent post-TV debate poll released by ABC News and polling firm‍ Ipsos has revealed that the approval ratings of ⁤Democratic ⁢candidate Vice President ‍Kamala Harris and Republican candidate former President Donald Trump remain largely ‍unchanged from before the debate.

According to ⁢the poll, Harris’s ‍approval⁢ rating stands at 51%, while Trump’s is at 46%. This is not significantly different from the pre-debate ratings, where ⁣Harris‍ was ⁢at 50% and Trump was at ⁢46%.

Despite ⁢winning the TV debate, Harris’s approval ratings have not seen a significant boost.⁣ Additionally, pop star Taylor Swift’s public declaration of‍ support for Harris has not led‌ to a notable change in her approval ratings.

ABC News attributes this to the fact that “voters are so firmly divided between the two camps that it is unlikely they will ⁤change‌ their minds.” This suggests that the debate has not had a significant⁢ impact on the opinions of voters.

Meanwhile, Trump supporters are expected to rally further as former President Trump faces a ‌second assassination ‍attempt.
