The PGA Tour,DP World Tour,and saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF),which funds LIV Golf,initially reached a framework agreement in June 2023,but have struggled to finalize a deal since than.Negotiations have been stalled since a February meeting involving PIF Governor Yasir Al-Rumayyan, PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan, Tiger Woods, and Adam Scott.

“I think that LIV is not going anywhere,” DeChambeau said. “[Al-Rumayyan] has been steadfast in his belief on team golf, and whether everybody believes in it or not, I think it’s a viable option. I think it’s a viable commercial option.”
