Dell Latitude 9440, 7000 Series and Precision 5680 launch featuring latest 13th Gen Intel chips

Dell today announced new additions to its Latitude and Precision family of powerful remote workstations, including: Dell Latitude 9440, 7000 Series a Accuracy 5680 Equipped with the latest 13th Gen Intel Core processors and Dell Optimizer for maximum privacy.

The Dell Latitude 9440 features a mini-LED backlit keyboard that reduces power consumption by up to 75%. It features a wider, zero-lattice keyboard with a 14-inch display, while the 13-inch body features an InfinityEdge QHD + display.

The Latitude 9440 also features the world’s first touch collaboration touchpad and customizable haptic feedback. This enables seamless meetings and video calls. Zoom integration is now supported, while Microsoft Teams will be available later this year.

While the Dell Latitude 7000 series Ultralights (7340 and 7440) come in 14 and 13.3-inch sizes respectively, they are the world’s smallest and lightest premium commercial laptops. They weigh less than 1 kg (for the 13.3-inch model) and slightly more than 1 kg for the 14-inch model. Both chassis are made of magnesium or aluminum. It looks beautiful and durable, has a 5MP camera and supports 5G network connectivity. There is also a 16-inch Latitude 7000 with touchpad and extended sound.

The Dell Precision 5680 will come with a 16-inch display, which is perfect for creators or working with graphics. It has an Intel Core i9 processor (45W) and up to 64GB of DDR5 memory, an RTX 5000 Ada Nvidia graphics card, a three-sided 16:10 InfinityEdge display, and up to UHD + PremierColor displays with good sound.

Cooling has also been improved for the Dell Latitude 5680. There are dual fans for ventilation. There are HDMI ports, an SD card slot, and an optional smart card reader for added versatility. Laptops come with detailed ISV certification covering performance, speed, and workflow reliability. The Precision 5680 and Latitude 9440 mobile workstations are also designed with low carbon and recycled aluminium.

The 9440 has a keyboard made from 75% recycled plastic and contains reusable components. Which comes from agriculture and food waste itself.
